While Fort Worth is known for its many wonderful museums, families will most enjoy the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.  Our kids had a blast carrying out experiments with hands-on activities and playing in the children's area.  We were impressed with the large number of helpful staff on hand.  The museum, which includes a planetarium and IMAX theater, is a fun place for families to explore science and history.  However, because the museum is a bit pricey ($14 per adult, $10 per child) and many of the exhibits are similar to ones we have seen elsewhere in the state, we view this more as a good addition to an already fun Fort Worth itenerary as opposed to a destination in itself.
